OK Compost HOME certified bags - they can be composted in home composters, as they decompose at lower temperatures - about 30 °C, and at least 90% of the material will decompose within 12 months.

The bags are made from potato and corn starch. They contain no heavy metals or other harmful additives that could seep into the soil.

With proper storage of compostable pouches in the right conditions (dry and dark), the material will not "spoil". The bag will begin to decompose when it comes into contact with bacteria, water and high temperatures. Bacteria will begin to "eat" and decompose the pouch into biomass, water and CO2.

NOTE: Never dispose of these types of bags in yellow plastic bins! They hinder the recycling process of other plastics.
