Cardboard envelopes - characteristics
Cardboard envelopes are manufactured from fairly thick, rigid and smooth cardboard. The outer part of the envelope is painted white to provide an aesthetically pleasing appearance and additional protection against external factors (e.g. against moisture). The cardboard envelopes are closed with adhesive tape on the flap. There is also a perforation that makes it easy to open the package without tearing the whole envelope and risking damage to the contents.
As standard, cardboard envelopes are produced in a size that allows A4 documents to be carried safely. However, it is also possible to produce other sizes.
Where are courier cardboard envelopes used?
Cardboard envelopes are used both in companies and by private individuals. They are particularly suitable for the mailing of documents (e.g. contracts, invoices, deeds, diplomas). Thanks to their rigid form, they prevent them from being creased or damaged. Courier cardboard envelopes are also used for the shipment of other flat goods that require adequate protection (e.g. electronic media, small parts, etc.).
